Can Agnes, Ibiza. This pastoral valley has escaped development because the locals have never sold out. Important issues were that the sea should be visible from any part of the house; that wherever possible 'right angles' were out - walls were plastered by hand and steps' edges curved, all wood be reclaimed. This sympathetic approach to a building shows a respect for the island's traditions.
