My husband and I could not have chosen a more magical spot for our honeymoon. Thank you so much for the hamper on arrival, it really made us feel relaxed not to have to rush out to the supermarket.

Local Information

The crystal clear water of the Ionian islands has to be witnessed first hand, it is said that the sea is so blue that it reflects on the undersides of the seagulls as they fly across the water!

It is possible to charter a yacht or motor boat to lunch on the white sands of the nearby island of Anti Paxos (2km). Exploring the hidden beauty in every bay by boat is a real treat, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.

There is scuba diving, great snorkelling and some gentl water sports in the north of the island.

The local restaurants are of a high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine.

Eating out on Paxos is a pleasure. White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep caves on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid” there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving.

Our View

This adorable little house is a glorious place for a couple to spend a week or two in Paxos. Small houses as beautiful as this don’t come along very often. It has been built out of local stone and oozes simplicity and style.
The small garden has a plunge pool which is perfect for cooling off first thing in the morning or after a long day on a boat. Lounge on one of the comfy wooden day beds by the pool – what a lovely spot to enjoy the warmth of Greece from.

The house is immaculate inside – great attention to detail means the owner has left nothing to chance. Cool greys and greens in the kitchen are paired with white walls throughout. A mezzanine floor houses the double bed. All whites and blues – just what you want in a seaside house.

Colours and smells abound in the garden – bougainvillea and plumbago mix well with lavender and lovely trees. This is the perfect spot to base yourselves and an ideal spot from which to explore the island.
