Nearest beach is a 5 minute drive
Ibiza Town is 12 km
Local markets and supermarkets are nearby

Fly to Ibiza from all London and most regional airports. The villa is 20 minutes drive from the airport in the south west of the island.

Local Information

The nearby village of San Miguel is one of the beautifully undiscovered villages in the north of Ibiza. It has a fortress church which is a landmark to many. There are many traditional festivals which take place in the village as it has remained truly a locals local and has not been spoilt in any way by the tourism of the south.

In the summer there is traditional folk dancing in the square every Thursday evening. A must to see once during your stay.
Also on Thursdays is a craft market, only Ibizencan products are sold ranging from honey, pottery, paintings and local carvings.

The village has tapas restaurants as well as some bars and other eateries with a larger choice.

The tiny port of San Miguel on the north coast has a few little shops and a supermarket. There are some bars and restaurants on the beach including Port Balansat, which many consider one of the beast fish restaurants on the island. The beach there a great spot to spend the day, it has a big sandy beach which is sheltered by the cliffs which surround it. It is a very popular beach for families.
There are caves to visit at nearby C’an Marca, formerly smugglers’ hideaway.
The fabulous hippy beach, Benirras, is also a short drive from the house, great for an evening drink watching the sun go down while the children play in the last rays, you can even have drumming lessons here!
Our View

We arrived at Masia on a beautiful Spring morning, expecting another run of the mill finca. What we found left an impression on us long after we returned to the office. This place is one of a kind and we highly recommend a visit, it is the kind of place you will want to go back to year after year with your family.

A property which sits on extensive grounds with the wow factor is hard to find on Ibiza, this house has huge grounds, hammocks, tree houses, funky pool house, groovy furniture inside and out as well as all mod cons in the extraordinary stone kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are made up with the finest Egyptian cotton and the fabulous bits and pieces which the owners have filled the house with will have you thinking of Interiors magazines.
Masai is abundant in lavender and has wonderful mature gardens filled with every type of plant. There is a separate guest house in the garden with two bedrooms for when it all gets too much for a big group.
The double height sitting room is huge and white, glorious yellow chairs litter the dining room – even the downstairs loo is “gorgeous” (written in my notepad!). The beds are handmade out of chunky local wood, a stunning bunk room that even teenagers won’t balk at and a cinema room.
The shelves are groaning with books, a day bed on the terrace is the perfect place to rediscover some of the classics you’ve always meant to read.
The generosity of this place knows no bounds, we just loved it and we’re sure you will too.
