Local Information

Paxos is fantastic for walking, swimming, boating and snorkelling. There are many beautiful little churches to visit along the way and dramatic white cliffs on the west side and many secret little bays and coves on the east side best visited by hired boat. Wild flowers overtake the silvery olive groves and the morning birdsong is unbeatable.

There are fantastic tavernas all along the coast as well as a funky beach bar and restaurant complete with beautiful people, bar and water sports.

It is very easy to hire a boat for the day in Loggos, only 2km from the villa. Loggos is famed for its picture-perfect harbour, great tavernas and child-friendly port.
Watching the local bus squeeze its way between taverna tables and the edge of the port side has become an olympic sport!

Take your boat over to Anti Paxos to enjoy the soft white sand there, moor the boat in the shallow waters and swim ashore to one of the tavernas on the beach. This is Robinson Crusoe – a little barefoot chic in Europe.
Our View

This delightful house is owned and beautifully run by Kostas who is the doctor on  Paxos. The reason it is so incredibly popular with our clients is that it is the perfect place for a large group of friends and family to holiday together but also to have a bit of personal space!
Each living area has its own kitchen, sitting room and separate bedrooms.

Dr Kostas is a passionate gardener and it really shows.  The garden is quite lovely and is filled with tumbling geraniums, giant clusters of bougainvillea, plumbago and much more. There is a large pool where you can lie in total peace, whiling away the hours with a good book. There is also a spectacular barbecue area set at the top of the garden with everything you could possibly need for al fresco eating. This is where the adults can spend long lunches while watching their children play ping pong or darts or swimming in the pool below.

This is a real find for a lovely family holiday. Ideally situated in the heart of the island, guests are able to take a short stroll into Fontana where fresh bread can be collected at the local mini-market. A traditional Kafenio allows you to while away many an hour enjoying an ouzo and playing backgammon whilst delicious home made dishes can be found at the family run taverna 3 minutes walk from the house.

The beautiful beach of KakiLangarda is within walking distance (although you may want to catch a lift back up!!) and in the cooler months it’s a pleasant walk down into picturesque Loggos.
