Local Information

The crystal clear water of the Ionian islands has to be witnessed first hand, it is said that the sea is so blue that it reflects on the undersides of the seagulls as they fly across the water! It is possible to charter a yacht or
motor boat to lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) or just to explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.

The local restaurants are of a high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine. Eating out on Paxos is a total pleasure. White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep caves on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid”
there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving.

Our View

We first saw this magnificent project just as it was starting its first season and it hasn’t taken long for the whole place to really take off.

This hotel is an  old manor house converted by the talented and charming owner, Tassos, who lives in Athens. It would be perfect to take the whole place as a group or if not as the most romantic spot for a couple wanting privacy and romance. They welcome children and many of the bedrooms have sofa beds so it would also suit a small family.

The hotel is very comfortable and sophisticated which is in TOTAL contrast to the island which is still very unspoilt and simple (in a laid back and charming way!) Before now it has been impossible to stay in such comfort on the island.

It has seven rooms that are all different, a wonderful pool area and incredible cool candlelit cellars were you can have treatments.

The staff are all delightful and helpful and will make your stay a joy by booking you a little boat to explore the coves and grottoes or an open top jeep to cruise through the sun dappled in the olive groves.

Please note that if the hotel is booked up by one group it will remain open to the public for meals and drinks.
