Local Information

Kas lies on the coast between Fethiye and Antalya in a beautiful position nestling below the Taurus Mountains on the Ancient Lycian way, where life continues as it has for centuries, with only a passing nod to tourism. This beautiful natural harbour town was originally established as the port of Antiphellos and faces the Greek island of Meis, which lies in the crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

You get a reminder of the rich and diverse history of Kas around almost every corner and in the most unlikely places. There are many Lycian rock tombs and sarcophagus and a well preserved amphitheatre dating back to the first century B.C. sited on the peninsular just a few minutes walk from town.
Local activities range from Swimming, Scuba diving, Snorkeling, Paragliding, Jeep safaris, Canoeing, White water rafting, Gulet cruises, Walking and trekking. Enough to keep any adventurer happy!
Further afield, you will find the dramatic cove of Kaputas and the stunning 15km sandy beach of Patara – a World Heritage Site and conservation area renowned for its turtle nesting sites.
Our View

Enjoy the glorious sea from this lovely family house on the Kas Peninsular in the south of Turkey. It has been built at the top of a pathway which leads down the hill and straight to the sea. Views from the house are breathtaking and the sunsets have to be seen to be believed.

Inside the house is contemporary and spacious with wooden or cool tiled floors. Bedrooms have sea views and good bathrooms. It is the simplicity of this house we like.
The pool is right outside the house and shares a terrace with the house. There are lots of different places to sit and enjoy the glorious view or lose yourself in the latest bestseller.
In just five minutes you can be at the sea where there is a swimming platform – have an evening dip and watch the sun set into the glittering sea before climbing back up to the house for a drink on the terrace before the short ride into Kas where there is a good choice of local bars and restaurants.
