Fresh back from a great trip to the White Island where we were spoilt rotten
by Francoise and Frederique at Les Terrasses outside Santa Eularia. SUCH a fabulous boutique hotel with the most amazing cook, quirky bohemian rooms and a beautiful pool area.
We saw 14 villas & will definitely be taking some of them on for 2013 – especially those with amazing views and great grounds. The choice of places to stay in Ibiza is astounding – proud to say we will be able to show our clients some fabulous new villas very soon.
We ate in La Paloma a funky restaurant in San Lorenzo offering the most delicious solomillo main course and mouth watering tomatoes as a starter. The owner made a point of coming to see us, his mother in law is from Tuscany and
her blend of Italian/Ibizencan food is so interesting
The place attracts foodies on the island, from far and wide. They treat everyone the same, from A list celebrities to beach bums. The atmosphere is joyful – oh and there’s a spectacularly impressive wine list, we drank white wine from the island and a deep Ribero del Duero from the mainland.
From Benirras in the north to the new CBbC (Cala Bassa Beach Club) in the south, the Spanish have the skill to draw you onto the beaches where the experience is unlike any other in Europe.
Watching the sun go down at either Cafe del Mar or in the quieter surroundings at Benirras, it’s hard to beat and a great way to end a busy day.
We are home now to the rain and damp but we’re so excited about getting these villas on the website for next year that none of that seems to matter!
