We loved Alexandros, in fact we think it is one of the nicest villas we have stayed in, its view and location were superb. Carnayo Gold is directly across the bay and serves great Italian food, we went almost daily.

Local Information

White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep caves on the west give families a range of things to explore.  For the “intrepid” there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving.  The crystal clear water of the Ionian islands has to be witnessed at first hand.  It is said that the sea is so blue that it reflects on the undersides of the seagulls as they fly across the water!

For families with teenagers or 20 somethings nearby Gaios offers some gentle night life and the only night club on the island. There are some great restaurants nearby and a good choice of bars.
It is possible to charter a yacht or motor boat to lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) or just to explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.  Eating out on Paxos is a total pleasure.  The local restaurants are of a very high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine.
Our View

We were thrilled when we saw this house! The owner, Alex, has done a wonderful job and has taken his job as perfectionist very seriously! The views down to the sea from here are breathtakingews. Mongonissi is such a special place and an easy stroll for a cold mojito at the bar opposite and endless entertainment watching the boats come and go.

The house has a great feeling, with good sized rooms looking out to sea, wooden decking on the large terrace and stone around the pool as well as comfy sunbeds, this is somewhere you’ll long to come back to after a day on the boat.
The interiors are white and bright, white wooden painted floorboards are soft under foot and the open plan kitchen allows even the most devoted of chefs time to chat and drink socially with the loungers before supper!
Ideal for a small family of four, this house also has the ability to extend to two more children who can sleep on the sofa bed in the sitting room. A small house with a big heart!
This is a wonderful example of a typical stone Paxiot house which has beautiful views of the bay of Mongonissi. This part of the island is great for bars and tavernas – just near Gaios, the largest of the three natural ports, there are banks and small food shops as well as a great choice of taverna. Getting down to Anti Paxos is easy from here as you are at the right end of the island.
