This area is very Greek & traditional, the house is right on the sea – it is possible to do water sports at a beach near Paleros (45 minute drive). It is worth going for the day as there is a groovy bar there which is owned by the owner of Villa Amalia & he can ensure great service. Lunch & dinner can be eaten here, the bar is always full of the young & beautiful so is a teenagers’ paradise!

We were spoilt rotten when we visited this house – lunch by the pool with glorious views across the sea. This glorious estate has absolute privacy and yet sits on 150m of prime Greek coastline. The road down to the house is lined with oleaner & lavender, the smell in the evening is wonderful! Approach the house through an arbour of lemon trees which opens onto a courtyard planted with lavender. So much thought has gone into the planting around the house.
It has its own stone jetty which means direct access to the sea & there are sun beds right down by the sea which is perfect for people who like a little peace away from the hustle of the pool.
The house has 6 ensuite bedrooms. The bathrooms are hewn from rough stone, polished tiles, stylish mirrors, soft linens & fluffy towels come as standard.
The estate is Eco-friendly – solar panels heat the water. There is a beautiful vegetable garden of 1,000 square metres, all the produce from the garden are used by the cook.
By the pool are some beautiful wooden benches with white cushions, great for aperitifs, for those who love a cocktail in the water, there are benches and a table submerged!
There are two amazing restaurants about 25 minutes drive. A) Specialty roast suckling pig and is high up in the mountains so the sunset is amazing over the Ambracian Gulf B) Seafront fresh fish taverna. Both are incredible and I would absolutely recommend them.
