Local Information

Corfu, famed for its glorious greenery and luscious interior, has become an immensely popular and luxurious destination. Often attracting the A list, this divine island offers stunning beaches, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!

The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on many of the local beaches.
Nearby St Stephano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach.
For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.
This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends, potter into town for delicious local delicacies, take a small boat around the cove to a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish and come home to a delicious dinner on the terrace under the stars.

One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.
Lunch in the next bay: Agni at one of the 3 best tavernas on the island.

Corfu town has a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants. It is possible to take a guided walk through the old town, stopping on the way for sustenance in any one of the many bars filled with beautiful people.
The island’s capital is a rambling and delightful mix of cultures, traditions and architecture. There is a French built promenade, cricket on the Esplanade and a venetian elegance that encompasses the town.

Our View

Set on a clifftop site with private seafront access, this villa is glass-walled along almost its entire frontage, overlooking the sea, east to the coast and mountains of Albania and south to mainland Greece and the Ionian islands. This really is one of the Mediterranean’s most sublime views.

Everything about the house is designed for comfort and space, with exquisite bespoke fabrics, luxurious bedding and plenty of comfortable seating areas both indoors and out.

The swimming pool terrace is positioned between the main house and the guest accommodation. The upper pool drains in to a lower one via a four-level waterfall, lushly planted. This area is interspersed with a lawn and there is a private terrace attached to the guest accommodation. The main terrace is lavishly supplied with comfortable seating and lighting, making it a superlative pleasure to relax outdoors by day and night.

At the end of this terrace is a stunning tower. Steps connect the various levels and a lift with glass doors encased in the seafront tower provides easy access to the private sea and sun bathing terraces (where staff will have already prepared your towels and parasols).
There is a shaded terrace on level one with a small kitchenette and tables and chairs. Just above sea level is a sunbathing terrace with sunbeds and parasols and at sea level there is the swimming platform with ladder for sea access or to board a boat.
