San Pantaleo is a short walk or an even shorter drive from the villa, and this charming village has everything you could need from your local spot. It was recently voted as one of the UK Telegraph’s most beautiful Italian villages, and it’s bursting with local character. It has such a relaxed, bohemian feel to it, and has plenty of sweet cafes to sit and watch the world go by from. There are some fantastic gelateria and restaurants to suit almost everyone. There is a renowned market on Thursday mornings, an absolute must-see – pick up some lovely local produce for your alfresco lunch. There’s always something going on here, year round.
Porto Cervo is a wonderful eco-sensitive resort and marina, and is only a 15-20 minute drive from the house. It’s glamorous, and a hot spot for the rich and famous of today. It’s definitely worth taking a stroll through the glitzy streets, and be sure to visit some of the boutiques and restaurants whilst you’re there. There is also a lovely market here on Friday mornings too.
Cannigone is another nearby resort and marina, but is a little more laid back and traditional, more of an authentic Sardinian experience. There’s some lovely clothes and homeware shops, and low-key dining with delicious local cuisine. This area really isn’t shy of things to do and see. There are several white sandy beaches nearby, and there’s also a great golf course and winery, Vigne Surrau.
An extremely comfortable house for a couple or small family with a generously sized outdoor kitchen, garden and terrace. Plenty of seating areas and the pizza oven would be great fun with children (or adults!). We can imagine spending a wonderful starlit evening here with the glowing embers, the sound of cicadas and the smell of wood-smoke.
The plunge pool overlooks the magnificent estate vineyard and is extremely welcome on a summer’s day.
Inside the rooms are light, bright and spotlessly clean. This is the owners personal holiday home and so everything is kept to a very high standard.
Can be rented with neighbouring property Casa Pantaleo to sleep 16 in total.
