Local Information

The Caribbean needs no introductions, its crystal waters and fine, white sandy beaches are second to none- and Antigua certainly lives up to the romantic expectation. The island is low key, informal and very much old Caribbean. Restaurants and bars are all open shacks and the dress code is flip flops and floaty dresses. No over the top glitz here.

Within a few minutes drive of the house are a plethora of restaurants including the renowned Catherine’s Café.

English Harbour boasts a rich colourful history as the former headquarters of the British Royal Navy’s Caribbean Fleet. Its centrepiece is historic Nelson’s Dockyard, named after Admiral Nelson who lived here from 1784 to 1787. It is the only original working Georgian dockyard in the world and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2016.

The natural harbours at English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour and the pervasive trade winds have made them the sailing hub of the Caribbean with some of the world’s most prestigious regattas taking place including-

Antigua Charter Yacht Show in early December
Superyacht Challenge late January / early February
RORC Caribbean 600 in February
Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in April
Antigua Sailing Week late April to early May
The Talisker Atlantic Challenge finishes in January/February in Nelsons Dockyard.

Walks from Windward Landing to English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour provide breathtaking views of Montserrat, Redonda, the Pillars of Hercules and historic naval forts including One Gun Battery, Fort Cuyler and Middle Ground.

Sailing lessons, horse riding and paddle board hire can be found at Antigua Yacht Club in Falmouth Harbour.

Yoga, meditation and various exercise classes can be found in English Harbour.

Our View

Arriving at this house for the first time, we knew it was going to be something special. Situated just above Falmouth Harbour, Casa Musica is in one of the best locations on the island, and has so much to offer.

Beautifully and thoughtfully built, the soft furnishings have been curated to give that perfect ‘bohemian yet luxurious’ effect.
This house is designed with impeccable taste, with a beautiful warm, neutral colour palette and an amazing collection of both designer and reclaimed furniture and lighting.

You are spoilt for choice in places to sit and enjoy your surroundings in true, Caribbean, laid-back style – with a sunken seating area that even turns in to an outdoor cinema for movie nights at home!

There’s a stunning infinity swimming pool, infrared sauna, air conditioned gym – you’ll really want for nothing whilst you’re here.

The interiors are soft and calming, each room spacious and filled with light. With accommodation spread over 3 separate buildings, its the perfect place for two families travelling together, each wanting a bit of privacy.

We are thrilled to have this house on our books, and can’t imagine a better spot!
