Local Information

The crystal clear water of the Ionian Islands has to be witnessed first hand. It is said that the seas is so blue that it reflects on the underside of the seagulls as they fly across the water! It is possible to charter a yacht or motor boat to lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) or just to explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.
Coolcat is between the two villages of Lakka and Loggos – nestling in the hills just above Lakkos beach. From here you can explore many things on foot, there are more beaches within walking distance, such as Monodendri beach – home to Ben’s Bar! It is also possible to walk down into Lakka in the evenings (quite a long, steep walk home though!).

The local restaurants are of a high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine. Nearby Loggos has a great choice of tavernas and some lovely gift shops as well as a good bakery and some small supermarkets.

White pebble bays on the east coast & majestic white cliffs on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid” there are walks through flower-filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving.

Our View

The location of Coolcat is just perfect. Take a 5 minute walk through the olive groves and find yourself at Ben’s Bar on Monodendri beach. This is the funkiest spot of the island, where you’ll find great music and even better cocktails! However, if this doesn’t tickle your fancy, then two minutes in the other direction from the villa you will find the secluded bay of Lakkos beach. One of the most preserved crystal water beaches of Paxos. Pop down for a swim and a snorkel before returning to Coolcat for your very own cocktails at the pool bar.
This villa has been built to ensure that the whole building is flooded with light at all times, with a 180° view of that spectacular Ionian Sea.
The house has many levels and terraces and consists of two separate buildings. This makes it perfect for a group of friends wanting their own privacy, or in a family dynamic, it allows the teens and the parents their own space.
The exterior of the villa boasts an element of Italy, with its beautiful green shutters, complementing the draping greenery and fig trees which you will find all over the exquisite garden.
Trust us when we say, you will love every moment of your stay here.
