The Palmerie in Marrakech, north of the red city, is an Oasis of several thousand palm and olive trees. Only 15 minutes from the centre of Marrakech.
Marrakech is full of colour and multi sensual adventure, enjoy gardens full of roses, steaming traditional tagines and the covered markets of souks that never disappoint.
There are so many different activities to do in and around the city as well as a 2 hour drive to the snowy Atlas mountain range of Oukaimeden, where in the winter, you can ski, toboggan and take the ski lifts up to marvel at the high Atlas.
Closer to the town and a shorter taxi ride visit the famous André Heller gardens of ANIMA; packed full with spellbinding sculptures that send clouds of cool mist over the olive groves in the midday heat. Experience the endless landscape in traditional Saharan dress with Camel and horse riding trips all within 10 minutes. Quad and desert buggy riding are a very fun day out for teenagers, stopping for mint tea in a rocky oasis! Wakey, Marrakech is fabulous for a full day of water sports only 30 minutes from the Palmerie.
Scenic hot air balloon flights can be organised for sunrise or sunset for an unforgettable moment over the ancient city (30 minute drive)
Dar El Sadaka was created by the incredible visual artist Jean-François Fourtou and is nestled in a 25 acre private domain in the palmeraie of Marrakech.
A selection of impressively realistic but friendly animal sculptures are scattered throughout the property, from orangutans swinging in the living room, to a bigger than life-size giraffe joining you for dinner.
