Local Information

Corfu, famed for it’s glorious greenery and luscious interior, has become a popular and luxurious destination. This divine island offers stunning beaches, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!

The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on many of the local beaches.

Nearby St Spyridon and Kalamaki have sandy beaches with calm and shallow waters, good for little ones. Kassiopi harbour is a short drive away, for boat hire and gentle nightlife for teens. A little further south, St Stephano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach. The tavernas are lively, day and night and there is also a cocktail bar if the mood takes you.

This is a fine place to spend a family holiday, potter into Kassiopi for delicious local delicacies, take a small boat to a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish and come home to a delicious dinner under the stars.

One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.

Our View
    • Views down to the sea are pretty much unparalleled in this part of Corfu – the drive up as you approach the house gives a small clue of what you will experience but nothing can prepare you for the amazing view once you reach the terrace in front of the house.

Inside, the bedrooms are filled with light, extremely comfortable with quality linens and the bathrooms are modern and sparkling clean. For a house that sleeps 4 the living and dining area is hugely generous, and the outdoor terraces are equally spacious.

This house can be taken with the next door property Gaia to sleep 10 altogether- great for 2 families wanting to holiday together.
