Hummingbird is in the north-east of Corfu, an area renowned for it’s natural charm, birds & wildlife and crystal clear, turquoise water

The beach below is accessible by a short path
Avlaki beach is a 5 minute walk, and has great water sports and sailing
San Stefano is 6 minutes by car you’ll find shops and tavernas on the beach
Kassiopi is 7 minutes by car
Corfu town is under an hour by car

There is so much on offer at Kingfisher Point that there may never be a reason to leave the estate!  There are any number of professionals on hand to attend to guests’ every whim, whether it be a massage, a tennis or yoga lesson, a music lesson on a traditional instrument or some entertainment in the form of an Opera singer or Jazz musician!

Boats from smaller Ribs to Sunseekers to large luxury yachts with an experienced captain, are available for hire and can be delivered to the jetty at the villa.  It is possible to do the RYA boat licence training course.

The Ionian Sea with it’s mild winds, crystal clear blue waters & predictable weather patterns is wonderful for sailing.  Lasers and ’P’ class can be rented locally.  Other watersports either for beginners or for those looking to master advanced techniques, are available – windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, jet skiing, banana & donut rides, fishing trips and scuba diving.

You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.

This area is a twitcher’s paradise – there is a detailed list at the villa of birds which have been spotted in the area, some of which are quite rare such as the Glossy Ibis, the Spoonbill and the Pygmy Cormorant.
