St-Paul-de-Vence is just 2km from the house and can be reached on foot. The picturesque hilltop town is one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and world class galleries such as Fondation Maeght on the outskirts of town. Here you will also find a host of restaurants including a Michelin-starred restaurant
Should you wish to venture further, you could visit the nearby market town of Vence, Valbonne, the perfumeries of Grass or go to Biot and Vaullauris known for their fabulous ceramics and glass works.
Provence was home to the Impressionists and art lovers will be in heaven here, dine admiring the originals which hang in Le Colombe d’Or restaurant in St-Paul-de-Vence, Picasso and Matisse were reputed to have dined here and paid with a painting, visit the Picasso Museum in Antibes and the Matisse museum in Nice.
Nearby you’ll find activities to suit all – there’s golf, sailing, canyoneering, zip wiring in the Gorges du Loup and plenty more.
The Cote d’Azur beaches are also within easy reach.

If you can drag yourself away from the stunning views and spacious grounds of the villa, head in to St-Paul-de-Vence where you will find restaurants, art museums and galleries aplenty.
It’s important to know that there are lots of steps everywhere, so little ones are very welcome but will need to be watched constantly.
