Local Information

The picturesque fishing village of Loggos is just 10 minutes walk down a path from the house, it is the smallest of three towns on Paxos, but has some of the best tavernas and bars on the waters edge – for the best breakfast head to Taxidi, and in the evening, cocktails at Roxy before dinner at Vasilis. You will also find boutique shops, mini-markets, a bakery and boat hire – no trip to Paxos is complete without a day out on a boat. The bays around Loggos are without question some of the best places to snorkel on the island.
The beaches of Levrechio and Marmari are easily accessible from the house within 20 minutes walking and a little further on you will find Kipos and Kipiadi beaches, about 5 minutes by car.

White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep caves on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid” there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkeling and diving.

It is possible to charter a yacht or motor boat to lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) or just to explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.

Our View

Little Koutsi is one of the two villas that make up Koutsi Garden, but during the low season months can be rented individually. When we first saw these villas, we were so excited to see that they could easily be rented apart as well as together. The space between them and the different directions they face allows complete privacy, so we are so glad that smaller groups can also enjoy these beautiful villas, and not merely large ones.

The villa itself is made up of two building adjacent to one another, connected via a beautiful bougainvillea draped pergola that covers a charming 6-person table for al fresco dining. One building hosts the kitchen and living area along with one double bedroom, perfect for a couple or teenagers, whilst the other hosts a beautiful master bedroom on the first floor and a double/twin bedroom on the ground floor, perfect for parents and young children.

The location of Little Koutsi is perfect for families with teenagers as it is just a 10-minute walk down a path from the villa into the beautiful port of Loggos. You’ll find bustling bars and gorgeous waterfront restaurants, you will not believe how lucky you are with this spot!
