Local Information

Many activities are possible nearby and in the region: hiking in the Alpilles, tennis, golf, quad biking, gliding.

Saint Rémy de Provence is one of the areas’ most outstandingly beautiful towns with wonderful shops, galleries and restaurants. Les Baux de Provence (a wonderful place to watch the sun go down over the hills), Eygalières and Maussane les Alpilles are beautiful villages with plenty of nice restaurants and cafés.

There are morning markets everyday in the surrounding towns and villages, and a professional food market at St Etienne everyday in the summer.

For wine lovers, Chateauneuf du Pape is only an hours’ drive away.

Less well known and only 3-5 minutes drive from the house, situated between Arles and Avignon, visit the Chateaux Fort of les Baux-de-Provence and dine at the world renowned and extraordinarily romantic Ousteau de Baumaniere.

Nearby, the Camargue is an ‘island’ of wetlands and salt marshes within a huge Natural Park. Take a trip on a ‘Camargue’ safari in an open top Landrover to see the herds of wild white horses and rare bird population.

Our View

A stunning, modern farmhouse surrounded by centuries old olive trees with impressive views of the Parc des Alpilles. Beautifully furnished inside and out, with deep squashy sofas, enormous sunbeds, and an outdoor ‘sitting room’ with fire pit, this house is simply begging for you to relax.
