Corfu is famed for its glorious greenery and luscious interior and has become a popular and luxurious destination. This divine island offers stunning beaches with water sports a-plenty, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!
Nearby St Stefano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach. The tavernas are lively, day and night and there is also a cocktail bar if the mood takes you.
For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.
This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends. One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that everything is so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu, for long, lazy lunches of fresh fish before coming home to a delicious dinner under the stars.
The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity.
For day trips, visit the stunning islands of Paxos and Antipaxos where you can have lunch before coming back to Corfu for a sundowner at one of the wonderful seaside tavernas.
Oleander is a beautifully positioned villa overlooking the bays of Avlaki and Kassiopi, set in a perfectly quiet location to achieve a sense of serene peace.
The villa is widely spread, offering multiple areas to relax communally or privately, this really makes it perfect for two families or a large group of friends. Each bedroom has either a balcony or terrace, offering a perfect opportunity to take a moment to read a book and look out across that sparkling Ionian Sea, before joining your group for evening drinks on the pool terrace. These bedrooms are not sparing and really offer you that comfort you long for from a home away from home.
What makes this villa really special though, is the wonderful cook that comes with it. Included in not just July and August but June and September bookings too, this allows all clients to completely switch off and not worry about any of the normal day to day chores we are all desperate to get away from.
