Local Information

San Pantaleo is a short walk or an even shorter drive from the villa, and this charming village has everything you could need from your local spot. It was recently voted as one of the UK Telegraph’s most beautiful Italian villages, and it’s bursting with local character. It has such a relaxed, bohemian feel to it, and has plenty of sweet cafes to sit and watch the world go by from. There are some fantastic gelateria and restaurants to suit almost everyone. There is a renowned market on Thursday mornings, an absolute must-see – pick up some lovely local produce for your alfresco lunch. There’s always something going on here, year round.

Porto Cervo is a wonderful eco-sensitive resort and marina, and is only a 15-20 minute drive from the house. It’s glamorous, and a hot spot for the rich and famous of today. It’s definitely worth taking a stroll through the glitzy streets, and be sure to visit some of the boutiques and restaurants whilst you’re there. There is also a lovely market here on Friday mornings too.

Cannigone is another nearby resort and marina, but is a little more laid back and traditional, more of an authentic Sardinian experience. There’s some lovely clothes and homeware shops, and low-key dining with delicious local cuisine. This area really isn’t shy of things to do and see. There are several white sandy beaches nearby, and there’s also a great golf course and winery, Vigne Surrau.

Our View

We are so thrilled to have the Pantaleo Estate on our books. This glorious property is just a stone’s throw away from its namesake, San Pantaleo, and close to many beautiful, white sand beaches.

The villas themselves are finished to such a high standard, and have everything you could wish for. All bedrooms have their own en suites, and the master in the main house even has its own separate entrance and private terraces with fabulous views. The open plan living area is spacious and light, and the kitchen area opens out onto the covered terrace, perfect for long lazy lunches or supper under the stars.

There are so many places here to sit, relax and unwind – oversized daybeds on the terrace soaking in the views, super-comfortable armchairs with your morning coffee. Outside there is also another kitchen, BBQ and even your very own wood-fired pizza oven!

There are spacious gardens, a hot tub, Bose outdoor speaker systems… you’ll want for nothing whilst you’re here. The location means you can just wander in to San Pantaleo for a morning coffee, a gelato or for supper. Casa Pantaleo provides the perfect place to retreat to after a day spent exploring, and there is just so much to explore here.

The two buildings (the main house and the guest house – Casa Gallo) are so close to each other, perfect for groups wanting to give some privacy to certain guests, all coming together to dine and relax up at the main house.
