Local Information

The crystal clear water of the Ionian islands has to be witnessed first hand, it is said that the sea is so blue that it reflects on the undersides of the seagulls as they fly across the water!
It is possible to charter a yacht or motor boat to lunch on the white sands of the nearby island of Anti Paxos (2km). Exploring the hidden beauty in every bay by boat is a real treat, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline.

There is scuba diving, great snorkelling and some gentle water sports in the north of the island.
The local restaurants are of a high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine.

Eating out on Paxos is a pleasure. White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep caves on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid” there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving.

Our View

Without doubt the most glamorous house on the island… James Bond would be right at home here.
The interiors have been chosen with the utmost care and taste, each element is a piece of artwork in itself. The walls have been designed at angles, and frame the collections of unusual ceramics and iconic pieces of furniture. Everything is of the highest quality- beautiful and unique. Together, the effect is hugely impressive, like being in a magazine shoot at every turn.
The outside space is out of this world. A secretive courtyard garden studded with sculpted plants leads from the open plan sitting area- an easy place for breakfast or evening drinks. Huge mattresses surround the pool, placed to gaze out over one of the best beaches on the island. The outdoor bar and dining area is a wonderful place to while away the long afternoons. Off the terrace is a garden path leading down to the beach. An exceptional house, of which the like has never been seen before on Paxos.
