The house is situated in the hills above Katavolos, in North East Corfu
The nearest shop and restaurant are 6 minutes by car
Nissaki is 9 minutes by car
Kaminaki is a steep 25 minute walk down (longer back up!) or 10 min by car
Agni and Kouloura are 15 minutes by car
San Stefano is 20-25 minutes by car or 15 minutes by boat
Kassiopi is 30 minutes by car

Corfu, famed for it’s glorious greenery and luscious interior, has become an immensely popular and luxurious destination. This divine island offers stunning beaches, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!
The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on Kalami.
This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends, potter into town for delicious local delicacies, take a small boat from to a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish and come home to a delicious dinner under the stars.
One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. Most of the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.
Surrounded by olive groves, this specially designed house is refreshingly simplistic. With an innovative cooling system, green roof and harvested rain water the house is leading the way for environmentally conscious travellers. Designed to minimise it’s environmental impact, the furniture has been locally made and so have the mattresses. Pops of zingy colour are dotted through the light bright rooms. We love the wonderful communal space in the open-plan kitchen/sitting room.
Outside, the terrace and pool extend towards the magnificent views whilst cobbled paths wind through the garden planted with shimmering trees.
