The crystal clear water of the Ionian islands has to be witnessed first hand, it
is said that the sea is so blue that it reflects on the undersides of the seagulls as they fly across the water! It is possible to charter a yacht or
motor boat to lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) or just to explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline. The local restaurants are of a very high standard serving both traditional Greek food and the most delicious Italian cuisine. Eating out on Paxos is a total pleasure. White pebble bays on the east coast and majestic white cliffs and deep
caves on the west give families a range of things to explore. For the “intrepid”
there are walks through flower filled olive groves, gentle fishing, snorkelling and diving. The joy of Paxos is its simplicity.
The Music House is a delightful property, hidden away in the olive groves just a short stroll above probably the prettiest beach on the island. The house is secluded and very private. Inside it is both elegant and comfortable with well-proportioned rooms and high ceilings, the owner has decorated it beautifully.
The garden is peaceful and overspills with flowers and herbs with lovely smells drifting from every corner. There are all sorts of little lavender filled corners to escape to with a book.
The house is divided between three buildings, so it’s perfect for families with grown up children or two families travelling together.
The lovely village of Loggos is just 5 minutes drive away where you can sit on the quayside in the evenings watching the coloured fishing boats bob up and down. This property has all ingredients for a perfect holiday on this beautiful island.
