The Sea Gull house is situated on the east coast just outside the village of Fontana, Gaios and Loggos are within easy reach. The house is right on the sea therefore easy to get to by boat as well as through the olive groves.
The nearby villages of Loggos and Lakka are under ten minutes by car. Both have a good selection of tavernas and shops. Gaios in the south of the island is a 15 minute car drive.
Fly to Corfu from London and most regional airports
Transfer to the island either by private sea taxi or hydrofoil (one hour) – we can help you with all transfers between Corfu airport and Paxos
Car Hire essential
Paxos boasts some of the bluest waters in Europe, you would be forgiven for dreaming that you were in the Caribbean. With its endless olive groves and warm waters, Paxos is the most glorious island year round.
There is no airport on the island which has enabled Paxos to retain its simplicity and there is something very pure about the place.
Mass tourism has certainly not reached this idyllic spot, the tavernas are properly local but, due to the attraction of the island to the Italian visitor in recent years the standard of food is amazing for such a small place.
Enjoy delicious home made pasta, glorious salads and scrumptious fresh fish in great surroundings.
Take a boat to visit the white sands of Anti Paxos for the day – book lunch on the beach there and leave your boat bobbing just a few metres away in the blue bay – there is no marina in Anti Paxos, just drop your anchor and swim ashore!
For those cocktail lovers there is the trendy Ben’s beach with its decking and dancing at sunset…certainly the place to go and see the beautiful Italians. Swim around into Lakkos Bay just by Lakka for the ultimate in barefoot chic.
Those who visit Paxos go back and back.
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer The Seagull House to our clients.
It is unusual to find somewhere so fabulous with its own beach in such a great position. You can travel the world and never find water as crystal clear and brilliant blue as in this very spot.
This inspiring villa has been built in such a way that the whole building is flooded with light at all times and gives you the feeling that there is no difference between being inside or out. The house has many levels and terraces. The windows are so huge that you get panoramic views from nearly all the rooms.
The house holds a striking collection of artwork and modern furniture that intrigues the eye whichever way you turn.
You can meander down to the little private beach below by a stone pathway strewn with many flowers and herbs giving off wonderful scents along the way.
There is also a fabulous tennis court and a big treehouse which would totally make the holiday for little ones and if they felt brave they could even overnight in there!
This is a magical spot to retreat to where you will be very well looked after by the lovely resident and discreet staff.
