We had a fabulous holiday at The White House, it was perfect, and for us it was a great location. We love Paxos, this was our fifth visit, and there will be more.

Local Information

Paxos is a little bit of the Caribbean in Europe, the crystal clear water of the Ionian has to be seen to be believed. You can rent a boat and go for lunch on Anti Paxos (2km) with its spectacular white, sandy beaches. Take a  cold bag filled with refreshing drinks and explore the hidden beauty in every bay, drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline. The local restaurants are of a high standard serving both traditional Greek food and some Italian cuisine.

Do also visit the other pretty villages: Loggos on the east coast of the island and the small town of Lakka to the north.

Spend an evening at The Sunset Bar in Erimitis looking west over the Ionian sea and down towards the dramatic white cliffs.  Daytime fun can be had at Monodendri Beach where all the Italians congregate for hot days leading into delicious evening cocktails.

Our View

We were greeted with much warmth by the warm and friendly owners of this lovely house just outside Gaios. They are a great couple who have put a great deal of thought into the house and  know the island well.  This house is the result of much love and hard work.

The rooms are large and generous and the area around the pool is spacious, lots of different places to sit in the sun make this a great spot for the sun worshipper…! There are lots of different choices of places to sit outside whether you want sun or shade, there’s a little of everything.
This would be the perfect holiday house for a group of friends or a larger family. The house has a great garden and there is lots of space for children to run around and a gorgeous pool with lots of shade.
The villa is in the south of the island in a lovely spot which is very peaceful but also an easy walk to Gaois  and brilliant for teenagers who want a bit of nightlife as they can sneak back without parents worrying about cars and mopeds.
