Local Information

Paxos boasts some of the bluest waters in Europe, you would be forgiven for dreaming that you were in the Caribbean. With its endless olive groves and warm waters, Paxos is the most glorious island year round.
There is no airport on the island which has enabled Paxos to retain its simplicity and there is something very pure about the place.

Mass tourism has certainly not reached this idyllic spot, the tavernas are properly local but, due to the attraction of the island to the Italian visitor in recent years the standard of food is amazing for such a small place. Enjoy delicious home made pasta, glorious salads and scrumptious fresh fish in great surroundings.

Take a boat to visit the white sands of Anti Paxos for the day – book lunch on the beach there and leave your boat bobbing just a few metres away in the blue bay – there is no marina in Anti Paxos, just drop your anchor and swim ashore!

For those cocktail lovers there is the trendy Ben’s beach with its decking and dancing at sunset… certainly the place to go and see the beautiful Italians. Swim around into Lakkos Bay just by Lakka for the ultimate in barefoot chic.

Those who visit Paxos go back time and time again.

Our View

Built out of local stone, this pretty three bedroom villa is a great new addition to our portfolio. The interiors of the house are light and bright with pale wood floors throughout. The master bedroom and twin room are on the ground floor and the third double bedroom is on the first floor. The open plan kitchen/dining area has a back door which leads straight out onto the patio

Round the pool are very comfortable sun loungers and also a fabulous double day bed with floaty curtains to shield off the midday sun – the perfect spot for an afternoon siesta! There is a pretty garden where there are several places to relax out of the sun: tiny tables and chairs can be found in secluded spots if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet. For the more active there is a ping pong table.

For long lazy lunches, there is a well equipped outdoor covered kitchen with with built in BBQ, fridge, hob, sink and dishwasher so need to to and fro constantly back to the house! There is a shaded seating area next to the outside kitchen which over looks the pool.
