Local Information

Corfu is famed for its glorious greenery and luscious interior and has become a popular and luxurious destination. This divine island offers stunning beaches with water sports a-plenty, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!

Nearby St Stefano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach. The tavernas are lively, day and night and there is also a cocktail bar if the mood takes you.

For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.

This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends. One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that everything is so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu, for long, lazy lunches of fresh fish before coming home to a delicious dinner under the stars.

The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity.

For day trips, visit the stunning islands of Paxos and Antipaxos where you can have lunch before coming back to Corfu for a sundowner at one of the wonderful seaside tavernas.

Our View

This is a great property for anyone looking for space and access to the sea, in the best part of Corfu. You arrive up a long, private drive, the villa sits in a raised position just above the beach, with direct access to the sea via a small path.

Interiors are modern, well appointed and beautifully finished in neutral light colours, with large rooms, en suite bathrooms and fabulous views from every side. Bedrooms on the lower floor all open onto a large terrace with more seating.

The villa has great style and we particularly loved the outside space, with wonderful sea views and the house blending beautifully into the local countryside. There is a huge pool area and terrace with comfortable sunbeds, and an outside sitting room with large, comfortable sofas – plenty of space for everyone.

This is a great family house and teenagers will love the proximity to Kassiopi, with it’s gentle night life.

Just wander through the little gate at the bottom of the property and down the path to the beach below the house. Although no beach in Greece is private this is just about as good as you can get.
