Local Information

Corfu, famed for it’s glorious greenery and luscious interior, has become an immensely popular and luxurious destination, offering stunning beaches, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy here, right on the sea.

The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on many of the local beaches – Avlaki beach for sailing and kayaking and paddle boarding or Kalami a little further south, for wake boarding and water skiing.

Nearby St Stefano is a pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach. The tavernas are lively, day and night and there is also a cocktail bar if the mood takes you.

For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.

One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.

Take a skippered boat out for a day and a wonderful itinerary can be planned ahead of time; visit the stunning nearby islands of Paxos and Antipaxos where you can have lunch before coming back to Corfu for a sundowner at one of the wonderful seaside tavernas.

Our View

A beautifully appointed house with breath-taking views of Corfu and Albania. Newly built to a very high standard with sumptuous interiors, the house is modern and hugely comfortable.
In the main house, the large open-plan sitting and dining area feels spacious and generous. Huge comfy sofas, elegant fabrics and sculptural furniture pieces give the interiors character. The master bedroom is particularly impressive- set in a separate wing on a lower ground floor with large double doors opening out onto a private pool area.
Outside, a spacious terrace area adjoins the house overlooking the pool. A beautiful, ornate pergola stretches the length of the house, supported by Grecian-style pillars and covered with scented vines.
Wine lovers will enjoy the huge walk-in wine cellar on the lower ground floor.
