The villa is situated in the north-west of Paxos, above Lakka
Planos beach is just 8 minutes walk away. Walk long the cliffs and admire that beautiful Ionian sea!
The village of Lakka is just a 5 minute drive from the villa, where you will find great restaurants, bars, supermarkets, a pharmacy and the best wine store on the island!
Loggos is an 8 minute drive away
Gaios is a 15 minute drive away
Fly to Corfu from London and most regional airports
Transfer to the island either by ferry or private sea taxi (8 people per boat) journey time 1hr – We can arrange all transfers from Corfu airport to Paxos
A hire car is necessary
The crystal clear water of the Ionian Islands really must be seen to be believed. There are locals who say that the sea is such a vibrant shade of blue that it reflects on the underbellies of the seagulls as they fly across the water.
Paxos is an island of activity – it possible to charter a yacht or a motor boat (or take your own hire boat) and lunch on Anti Paxos (just 2km) – explore all the stunning coves and discover the beauty hidden in every bay. Drop the anchor and swim through the mysterious caves that dot the coastline. Enjoy the dramatic cliffs of the west or the more gentle beaches of the east.
Local restaurants have got better and better over the years and are heavily influenced by the neighbouring regions in Italy. Greek tavernas serve all the traditional favourites as well as some modern dishes – some of the islands’ best chefs have been trained in London or other large cities and have come back to the island, unable to stay away from its beauty.
Lakka is a seaside village 5 minutes drive from the house, with good local tavernas, coffee shops, supermarkets, bakery, boat hire and scuba diving. Loggos is a 7 minute drive, where you can find some of the most well known tavernas in the island.
White pebble bays combine with amazing caves, there is so much to do! Walk through the olive groves down to the local villages, picture perfect in their simplicity. In spring the island is an explosion of colour as the flowers come into bloom. Some gentle fishing is on offer for the more intrepid as well as snorkelling and diving.
This house really is all about the outside space. It has so much to offer. The top terrace is our favorite spot for your sunset moment. Being walkable down to Planos beach and Lakka works so well.
