Sri Lanka
an exciting, spicy paradise for those looking for a little more adventure!
Whether you are choosing an intrepid adventure or a family trip with unforgettable food and scenery, Sri Lanka is paradise for those looking for a little more excitement!
We recommend a two week stint; divided into a week of excursions travelling through central Sri Lanka, staying in one of our unforgettable, handpicked locations. Experience train rides through tea plantations and elephants bathing in the national parks. Follow this up with a relaxing luxury villa stay on the very southern tip of the island between Galle fort or groovy Hiriketiya - we have found the most comfortable and stylish villas all in the best locations.
OR
A ten day to two week Villa stay with a tailor made itinerary of excursions that will take you out to see magical Sri Lanka from whale watching, elephant trails, rice paddies, temples and all returning to your villa every night, no need to pack and repack your suitcase.
From Egg hoppers to Arawak sours - Sri Lankan cuisine is a high hitter! Somewhat over looked in world cuisine, the food on this unforgettable island was a dealer sealer. Our villas have incredible teams of cooks and chefs working to serve our guests not only the most delicious, authentic Sri Lankan food but they're also more than capable of serving up equally mouthwatering European inspired dishes to suit all.
Many people visit Sri Lanka for its stunning beaches because it is one of the most fortuitous islands. But whether it's your first, fifth, or tenth visit to Sri Lanka, the exotic and free roaming animals, romantic, sprawling tea-plantations, historic ruined temples, and kaleidoscopically coloured temples offer an action-packed agenda. Likewise, lying by the pool or on the beach all day will do just fine too!
In and around Galle fort there are an exciting array of restaurants from beach shacks serving up fabulous curries and burgers to the more sleek and sexy establishments in the fort serving up crisp cocktails and satisfying haute cuisine. Beach bars and bust bars are open for dancing around a fire or in an open airy club setting .
Hiriketiya (1hr from Galle) a laid back and relaxed surfy village is on the up with the sound of cocktail shakers to be heard across the rice paddies. With some our best and most established villas in this area this is a recipe for a seriously good time!
A most astonishing , richly culturally and warm place to visit - there's not much that isn't a highlight.
Our favourite moments comprise of unbeatable service in the Villas from breakfast to delicate flowers on our pillows, whale watching in Mirissa and following twinkling lights around the Galle fort ending our night in Amangalla hotel for a night cap.
