We are so looking forward to a return to some sense of normality in terms of foreign travel, and we remain hopeful and positive that more and more countries open for tourism this summer. To help keep you informed on the current restrictions and requirements for travel to our destinations, we’ve put together our travel guidance below, and as always if you have any other queries please don’t hesitate to contact us:

Please note that all the information below is relevant only to UK nationals travelling in and out of the UK. If this does not apply to you, please check the appropriate arrivals protocol for your return destination

Before travelling, it is essential to check the full entry requirements to your destination, as well as what is required in order to return to the UK from your destination. Do also make sure, as always, that you are fully covered by your travel insurance, and if in doubt we recommend getting in touch with them directly with any questions. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure that you have everything required to travel.

TESTING REQUIREMENTS AND OPTIONS

Travelling to our destinations from the UK:

We would strongly recommend that you organise all the tests you will require prior to your departure, and you can find the full list of the UK Government-recommended providers here.

Whilst it is often possible to arrange your test to return to the UK whilst you are away, we would advise organising this in advance with a company on the recommended list for peace of mind, as logistically local testing in your destination might not be well-equipped to cope with the volume of tourists, and they must also meet the UK government standards too.

Companies such as Qured and Collinson are offering test packages that you can purchase in the lead up to your holiday, and they will provide the PCR required before you leave the UK, the test that needs to be done whilst you are on holiday in order to re-enter the UK, and also those that you will need for either day 2 and day 8, or day 2 and day 5 of your home quarantine, depending on whether you opt for to use the test-to-release scheme. The test that you are required to do whilst on holiday is then done via video-call, so you will book a day and time for this when you purchase the package, and they then send you your test certificate via email which you can then show at the airport for your return flight to the UK. Regardless of the status of your destination on the UK traffic light system, these companies will be able to provide the relevant testing required for you, as they also provide ‘green’ testing packages too where required.
